MTN Magic Number Promo
1. Campaign
This competition is organized by Mobile Telephone Networks (Proprietary) Limited (“MTN Eswatini”) and Going Up Interactive FZC-LLC (the “Promoter”). MTN Eswatini customers who subscribe and participate in the competition will on a daily basis receive a ticket with 6 random numbers (from 1 to 49) with which they will be entered into the daily lottery draw where 6 out of 49 numbers shall be drawn for a chance to win cash prizes depending on the number of digits matched from the customer’s own allocated numbers.
2. Prizes
2.1 3 out of 6 numbers match: All subscribers that correctly predict and match 3 out of the 6 numbers drawn will win a E5 MoMo Cash prize instantly deposited into their active MoMo account.
2.2 4 out of 6 numbers match: All subscribers that correctly predict and match 4 out of the 6 numbers drawn will win a E50 MoMo Cash prize instantly deposited into their active MoMo account.
2.3 5 out of 6 numbers match: All subscribers that correctly predict and match 5 out of the 6 numbers drawn will win a E10,000 MoMo Cash prize instantly deposited into their active MoMo account.
2.4 6 out of 6 numbers match: All subscribers that correctly predict and match 6 out of the 6 numbers drawn will win a E200,000 MoMo Cash prize. In this case, however, the customer will be contacted by MTN to arrange for collection of the customers’ winnings.
In the case that within a 4-months period from the date of the start of the competition 01/01/2026 at 00:00:00 no customer has matched 6 out of 6 numbers to win the jackpot, then MTN may hold a jackpot with the following rules applicable:
· The total jackpot prize for the jackpot draw will be reduced to E100,000.
· All participants/customers subscribed to the service will automatically enter the draw based on the number of tickets they have received throughout the period, including both paid and free tickets.
· Each ticket will count as one entry (ticket) into the Jackpot draw - daily ticket counts for 1 entry and weekly ticket counts for 7 entries.
· A random winner will then be chosen based on the drawn number within the entire numbers that were part of the main jackpot draw.
· The random draw will be held within 5 days from the last day of the promo (30/04/2026).
3. Extra/Bonus Draw
From time to time on MTN’s discretion, an extra/bonus draw may be held to reward customers that have been actively playing the game. This extra draw gives customers a chance to win a share of an extra E10 000 outside of the possible daily winnings. For this additional draw, the following applies:
3.1 Participation Window
· The participation window for all extra/bonus draws will run from the period from when last draw was done, up until the period when a decision to do another extra/bonus draw is taken.
· All ticket purchases within this period are valid entries for extra draw.
3.2 Campaign Communication
Once decision to initiate an extra draw is made, the date is communicated to all customers to make them aware. The period of notification is to be at least 7 days before extra draw is held to ensure all customers are aware and have a chance to purchase more tickets to increase their individual entries.

3.3 Eligibility
· Open to all Magic Number players who have purchased one or more tickets since last extra/bonus draw.
· Automatic Participation: Every Magic Number ticket purchased within this period is converted into an entry for the extra/bonus draw.
· Independent of Daily Magic Number Draw: Winning or losing on the main magic number draw does not affect participation in the extra/bonus draw as this is independent.
3.4 Extra/Bonus Draw Entry Mechanics
· Each Daily Magic Number Ticket = 1 entry into extra/bonus draw.
· Each Weekly Magic Number Ticket = 7 entries into extra/bonus draw.
· Subscription / Renewal or On-demand tickets count equally.
· Tickets purchased via Airtime or MoMo count equally.
· New Users: First-time players receive 1 free entry along with their free ticket of opt-in.
3.5 Incentive Multiplier
· The more tickets one buys = more entries = higher chances of winning the extra/bonus draw.
· Example:
o Player buys 3 daily tickets → 3 entries into extra/bonus draw.
o Player buys 1 weekly ticket + 2 daily tickets → 7 + 2 = 9 entries into extra/bonus draw.
o New user buys 1 weekly ticket → 7 entries + 1 free entry = 8 entries into extra/bonus draw.
3.6 Extra/Bonus Draw Price Allocation
When a decision to do a bonus draw is made, one of the following prize allocations will apply:
3.6.1 The entire E10,000 will be won by one winner. Or
3.6.2 The total prize money (E10,000) will be separated into two E5,000 prizes which will be won by 2 unique players.
3.6.3 The total prize money (E10,00) will be separated into four E2,500 prizes which will be won by 4 unique players.
3.6.4 The total prize money (E10,000) will be separated into ten E1,000 prizes which will be won by 10 unique players.
To keep it interesting, the prize distribution for a specific extra/bonus draw, will only be communicated to customers when the decision to do the draw is made.
3.7 Draw Method: The winning customer(s) will be chosen at random selection from total pool of entries and may be streamed live on MTN Eswatini social media pages.
3.8 Awarding: On completion of the draw, the winning customer(s) will be sent their winnings on their MoMo account within 24 hours.
4. Campaign Period
The Competition commences on 01/01/2026 and will continue until the 30/04/2026 (4 months duration).
5. Who May Enter
a. To be eligible to enter, the entrant must:
i. Be an MTN subscriber (Pre-Paid / Postpaid).
ii. Participate in the daily subscription service or make an on-demand purchase.
iii. Be a natural person.
iv. Be 18 years or older.
v. Have an active mobile money account into which winnings may be deposited.
b. Subscribers can enter as many times as they wish through subscribing and/or also purchasing on-demand tickets/tickets.
c. Participation excludes employees, directors, members, partners, consultants, and agents of, or any other person who, directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the marketing providers of this activity, (and the spouses, life partners, immediate family members or business partners of the people or entities listed above. This means:
i. the promoters;
ii. suppliers of goods and or services in terms of this Competition; and
iii. promotional partners, printers, advertising and promotional agencies, professional advisors and point-of-sale staff employed by or contracted to, or providing goods or services of any kind, to all the people or entities listed above during the Competition Period.
d. During the campaign period (currently 01/01/2026 until 30/04/2026), winners are entitled to win:
i. One or more prizes from all categories.
For example, MSISDN 7644xxxx who has been a winner of “3 out of 6”, will be eligible to become a “3 out of 6” winner again.
6. How to Enter
a. During the Activity Period, the entrants that meet all the criteria referred to in clause 4.a. above must do the following to stand a chance to win:
i. MTN Subscribers must register to the subscription service by
· Sending an SMS with the key word “JOIN” or its aliases to 9595 at a charge of E3 per day deducted on current customer airtime balance; or
· Dialing the USSD code *9595* at a charge of E3 per day deducted on current customer airtime balance; or
· Visiting https://mtnmagicnumber.com/en/welcome
Opt-in to subscription on the service for the first time is for free. After which the subscription charge shall apply starting from the following day. If a user opts out from the subscription and re-opt-ins on the same or other day, no free opt-in will be granted again, and the subscription fee shall apply.
By subscribing to the service, subscribers will receive a ticket with 6 random numbers for the draw of that particular day to take place at 20:00hrs. Draw results shall always be published on https://mtnmagicnumber.com/en/draw-results daily. MTN may sometimes publish such results on their official website. social media pages and print media.
ii. Subscribers may request/ purchase on demand tickets/tickets/numbers – either random number or sending the 6 numbers they want - by sending the keyword PLAY or its aliases to 9595 via SMS at the cost of E3/ticket/ticket.
Same option is availiable also though USSD menu at *9595#.
b. Entry by intelligent devices (e.g. modems, telemetry devices) or machines shall not be permitted for entry and will not be eligible for Prizes.
c. Subscription:
i. MTN subscribers may subscribe to the daily subscription service either by sending: JOIN or its aliases to 9595 or by dialing the USSD code *9595 *1# or by visiting mtnmagicnumber.com. After the one calendar day free trial has ended, the daily subscription cost is E3 per day. The subscriber will get the daily ticket of 6 random numbers via SMS and web at mtnmagicnumber.com.
d. Opt-out / Deregistering / Unsubscribing / Help:
i. For information regarding the service the customer may SMS “HELP” or “INFO” to 9595 for fre, or dial *9595# and follow the steps .
ii. For canceling their subscription to the service, the subscriber may SMS “STOP” to 9595 for free or dial *9595# and follow the steps. Customer can also dial *585# to unsubscribe for this service or any other digital subscription/service offered by MTN.
iii. Subscribers can opt in/out of the promotion as they wish. Previously acquired tickets will not be lost. Upon opt-out.
e. Once the qualifying entrant has fulfilled the requirements of clause 4 above, he / she will automatically enter the lucky draws.
f. The lucky draws shall take place as follows:
i. Daily Prizes: The eligibility time frame for the daily prizes will start every day at 19:55:01 and end on the following day at 19:55:00. Every day at 20:00:00 a draw takes place where 6 numbers are being drawn out of 49. Results shall thereafter be published on https://mtnmagicnumber.com/en/draw-results. Sometimes such results may be published on MTN’s website, social media pages and print media.
g. Winners of all prizes will be notified via SMS and further get their winnings via mobile money (except for jackpot winners, whose winnings shall be distributed using other arranged means).
h. By entering the competition, all entrants give their consent to use their name and/or photograph in MTN’s SMS, banners and / or social media and on promotion’s website (www.mtn.co.sz and mtnmagicnumber.com), should they be selected as Winners.
i. Winners’ names and/or photographs will be announced on MTN’s SMS, banners and / or social media and on promotion’s website (www.mtn.co.sz and mtnmagicnumber.com).
7. The Prizes
a. Entrants that fulfil the requirements stated in clause 4 above, stand a chance of winning daily prizes as follows:

b. Jackpot prizes shall be deposited by the organizers to a specific winner’s bank account, through which the winner will be able to withdraw their money. Prizes may be received by a representative of the winner by proxy only upon duly signed and authenticated by the right authorities within Eswatini (affidavit). Due to administrative processes, jackpot payments may take up to 7 working days.
8. General
a. If necessary and if required by law or beyond the reasonable control of the organizers, the organizers reserve the right to vary the nature of the activity, the prize, or these terms and conditions upon notice in this regard being published on (www.mtn.co.sz and mtnmagicnumber.com ) or in another appropriate medium. If the Prize is limited or changed, the organizers shall replace the Prize with a prize of a similar economic value.
b. With regard to clause 7.a. above, any amended terms and conditions published in any media, or on the MTN website (www.mtn.co.sz/ and mtnmagicnumber.com) will form part of the terms and conditions which the entrants agree to be bound. It is your responsibility to refer to and comply with these terms and conditions whilst accessing or using this site.
c. As the Prize is monetary, it is not transferable, not exchangeable for another prize and cannot be sold.
d. The organizers reserve the right to disqualify any entrant if they have reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached any provision of the Terms and Conditions.
e. The organizers reserve the right to withhold the Prize until it is entirely confirmed that the claimant of the Prize is the bona fide winner and reserves the right to call for such proof as it may deem necessary.
f. By entering this activation, entrants signify their consent to be bound by the terms and conditions contained herein.
g. Jackpot Winners shall be required to sign an acknowledgement of acceptance and receipt of the Prize.
